Just God

Released in 2014, Just God has played at the Green Bay Film Festival and the Wildwood Film Festival in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Father Arnold Stevens, a priest with a good heart and noble convictions, operates a youth drop in center, facing financial ruin. Desperate to keep the charity open, he is forced to accept donations from Calista, a drug dealer with her own mysterious motivations. The arrangement entangles both of them with existential crises neither can foresee. Soon they encounter a kangaroo court, a New Age motivational speaker, a rival drug dealer, incompetent middle managers, and two agents from the "Celestial Audit Bureau." When is all over, Father Stevens has a new job and lot more than just his youth center and drug money to worry about.
Shot entirely in Madison, Wisconsin, Just God is a dark comedy about morality, justice and finding a good serving of Crab Rangoon.
